I love this quote! Even though I do feel my parents and my big sister… they are all in my heart, but, for some reason, I’d never thought that might be what they want. I am happier now.

In the face of life and death, human language lacks the vocabulary necessary to truly express the emotions going around. You manage to get close though. I can not fathom what it would be like to lose a child, even though I know something about death; having become a widower age 40. Know that I do recognize something of your pain; and Pooh gives us a beautiful aide.

I know how you feel I have been there. I lost my father at age 10 and also my two younger brothers.
I understand. My son was killed while serving the USMC back in 1992, and it doesn’t get any easier.

I came here to thank you for the follow on I Write Her and read your stories. Oh, Victoria! I ache for your loss! I’ve been following the story of exposing Scientology through the documentary by Leah Remini and Mike Rinder on A&E. It’s heartbreaking for everyone involved. My hope is that Scientology will eventually be gone and all people will see this organization for what it is! I would highly recommend an organization called Recovering from Religion to you to connect with others who can understand your pain. I wish nothing but the best for you!

Praying for your comfort. I agree we must cherish memories our of loved ones.
The heart heals from the inside – some wounds never close. There is nothing I can say from the outside – I have two boys now young men who I have worried and fretted over (still do) because it is my worst fear to lose them. Reading your posts is painful because they tear at my own fears – children are our greatest treasures.
I don’t have any children, so have no real concept of the utter heartbreak of losing one’s child.
If you ever have the time to travel to Canada, i would recommend the capital city of Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba. Winnie the Pooh was created in Winnipeg which explains partly his name and you will see many souvenir items with Winnie the Pooh theme on all of them. I think you will feel Kyle’s spirit there. My heart and prayers goes out to you.
